7th Migration Conference, 18-20 June 2019, University of Bari, Bari, Italy


The 7th Migration Conference, TMC 2019 was held from 18 to 20 June 2019 and hosted by the Department of Political Science, University of Bari, Italy

The TMC 2019 Bari was a forum for discussion where experts, young researchers and students, practitioners and policy makers working in the field of migration have joined the debate and exchanged their knowledge and experiences in a friendly and frank environment. The President of the Republic of Italy has awarded the Migration Conference 2019 Bari a Medal of Republic for contribution to science

TMC2019 BariThe conference was organised in thematic streams of about 140 parallel sessions and four plenary sessions and four roundtables, one exhibition, and three movie screenings over three days. About 600 participants from over 60 countries have participated. Best Paper Presentation Prizes were announced at the Closing session on 20th June 2019 at Aula Aldo Moro.




The conference venue was Department of Political Science at the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”, Bari, regional capital of Puglia in South Italy. Participants have also enjoyed the city’s museums, beaches and many attractions nearby. The registration desk area, parallel session rooms and plenary session halls for the TMC2019 were located in two main buildings of the universityTMC2019 Bari Volunteer.

We thank our hosts, reviewers, participants, supporting organisations and the team of volunteers who collaboratively made the event a success.
