The Migration Conference 2020, Tetovo, North Macedonia – 8-11 September 2020

8th Migration Conference, 8-11 September 2020, South East European University, Tetovo, North Macedonia

The 8th Migration Conference, TMC 2020 was held from 8 to 11 September 2020 and hosted on MS Teams as a virtual conference.

The TMC 2020 Tetovo was a forum for discussion where experts, young researchers and students, practitioners and policy makers working in the field of migration have joined the debate and exchanged their knowledge and experiences in a friendly and frank environment. The Migration Conference 2020 Tetovo was held as a virtual conference due to COVID-19 Pandemic and travel restrictions.

The conference was organised in thematic streams of about 81 parallel sessions and two plenary sessions and one roundtable over four days. About 400 participants from over 50 countries have participated.

The conference venue was initially set as Tetovo campus of South East European University in North Macedonia. However, due to the Pandemic, the event moved online and was hosted on MS Teams.

We thank our hosts, reviewers, participants, supporting organisations and the team of volunteers who collaboratively made the event a success.
